FORUM Rules

These rules apply to all sections of the SuperScape forums unless otherwise specified here. For in-game rules, visit this link: [Only admins are allowed to see this link].

When a forums rule is broken, the offending material is likely to be removed/edited by a staff member.

In the case of minor rule-breaking, a warning may not be applied and a forums staff member will simply edit your post to adhere to these rules. However, frequent reminders may result in a warning, depending on the staff member's decision.

The forums are led by myself, and I will be the final judge of your punishment. If you have been punished by a forums staff member, please respect these decisions as all punishments will be re-evaluated by myself later on and I will maintain/revert your punishment depending on evidence.

Do not advertise other active RSPS's - Don't mention RSPS's that are still online and running, so please don't refer to them (old servers that have closed are fine). Any links to other active RSPS's or continual discussion regarded them will result in punishment.
Do not spam on the forums - Spamming involves double-posting, posting multiple of the same reply to a thread, posting very short answers with little meaning (such as Yes, Lol, Haha, ROFL etc.), posting irrelevant replies that do not contribute to the thread and going COMPLETELY off-topic.
No excessive flaming - Excessive flaming is offensive, abusive, racially/sexually/culturally/religiously discriminatory or insulting posts with the intent of provoking or annoying others. Whilst the mild joke will not result in punishment, if others regard it as 'flaming' then the post will be removed.
No excessive swearing - I don't mind swearing if it's necessary etc. but if it's stupidly over-the-top, then it'll be edited out.
No grave digging - Don't post on old, irrelevant threads that have been inactive for over a month. However, you are allowed to post on old threads that are still relevant, such as your old achievements thread, guides or a glitch that has resurfaced.
One BUMP per 24 hours - If you wish to BUMP your thread to allow it to be seen by others again, then only do so to your own threads - doing this to another player's thread is not allowed. Also, if the last reply to your thread was your BUMP and you wish to BUMP again, then please delete your original BUMP post then add a new one (otherwise you're breaking Rule #1 of Double Posting).
Respect the decisions of Forums Staff - The Forums Staff have been picked for their insight and ability, and may not strictly adhere to the specified rules, but they will be able to decide whether you should be punished for rule-breaking on the Forums. If you feel their word is unnecessarily unfair/unjust, then post an Appeal to allow me to determine an outcome.
Try to post in the correct sections - Although this isn't a strict rule, it would be helpful if you posted your threads in the proper sections. If you are continually posting in the wrong section as you can't read properly, or are aiming to waste the Forums Staff members time, then you will be punished.
Do not attempt to evade a Forums Ban - As you will have sufficient time to appeal a Forums Ban in most cases, there is no need for you to make another account to continue to post. If found to be using another account during the extent of a Forums Ban, then you will be permanently IP-banned.
Follow the sub-section rules in addition to these - There are further rules in the guidelines for each sub-section of the forums - please also read these so you are aware of extra rules that apply to these areas of the forums.
No posting illegal/age-restricted stuff - I don't want to see things like porn (media or links), real-life gambling links, drugs etc. on these forums, even in the off-topic section.

For additional rules regarded a specific sub-section of the Forums (especially Reports/Appeals), refer to the Rules posted in the respective areas.
